The work was instigated by the City of Donostia, in the Larratxo neighborhood. It is a construction project that used 600 m2 of slab with thickness ranging between 30 and 35 cm. The Parking Garage has 2 underground level and three stories above the ground.
As a consequence of excavation for the two underground levels, slurry walls were constructed using the EUC and UCAB One-Face Formwork system, depending on the height of the walls to be constructed.
The parking garage was given and irregular shape and therefore ORMA Formwork was used for building the straight wall and pillars while BIRA Formwork was used for managing the curves. Given that the distance between pillars was wide and regular, it was advisable to use CC-4 Formwork for building the concrete slabs which varied between 30 and 35 cm thickness with a free height between slabs of 2.3/2.5 m. For the ramp areas, RAPID Formwork was used, reaching as much as 5.3 m in height in some zones.
